Showcasing China Creek Campground
China Creek Campground is one of the most stunning places in the Alberni Valley, a place that even some locals are only vaguely aware of. Personally I was first introduced to China Creek as a scuba diver. There is an amazing underwater wall along the shoreline, which is a place to see Giant Pacific Octopus, Wolf Eels, Sea lions to name just a few. Even more amazing is that there is also one of the world's only shore accessible artificial reefs (shipwreck) right here in Port Alberni.
In recent years the Port Alberni Port Authority has done an amazing job of promoting this jewel of the Alberni Valley. To see what I mean, check out the link to their website below. This spring, our team was approached by the Port Alberni Port Authority to see if we would be willing to donate our marketing equipment and skills to help with the effort. Yesterday, we visited China Creek Campground with our Matterport Camera and captured 360 degree images of the beach, marina, and a cross section of campsites. We also captured a number of aerial shots of the area.
Please go ahead and explore China Creek Campground virtually, then get out there and explore it in person. China Creek Campground is one of many great reasons to love living in the Alberni Valley.
