Alberni Museums Virtual Tours
You’ve probably hear by now that We Sell Homes Virtually. We’re able to do this because we have a whole host of technology available to us. Perhaps our favourite piece of equipment that we own is our Matterport Camera. We use the Matterport Camera to create full Virtual Tours of every home we list for sale. During the 2020 COVID19 panedemic, we’ve begun using the camera to create Virtual Tours of local Port Alberni museums.
The idea came to our Group Leader, Chris Fenton, while he was at home learning how to teach his two young kids school work. He realized that it would be pretty cool if despite the need to stay home for the safety of the community, he could take his kids on a tour of some of our amazing local recourse. It was perfect – a small way to keep the community connected during what was a very scary time.
We began reaching out to local museums. First we scanned the Alberni Valley Museum, and next the Alberni Industrial Heritage Center. Below you can take a tour of both facilities from the comfort, and safety, of your home.
