It isn't as busy as Downtown Squamish, but it is only about a ten-minute drive to get there if you prefer that. You are likely to find anything you need at the Garibaldi Shopping Centre! Squamish is home to a bald eagle sanctuary. To the west, along the Squamish River, you can visit the Eagle Run Viewing Shelter. This is a designated space that is safely located away from the eagles' habitat across the river in the Brackendale Eagles Provincial Park. Relax and view these powerful birds as they fly through the sky and dive down to catch fish in the river - binoculars and a sunny day are recommended!
