Squamish General Hospital is the focal point of this area, which makes it very convenient for those needing medical care or appointments. There are also a couple of elementary schools and some small shops such as a hair salon, convenience store, and a pub nearby. The drive Downtown is about five minutes or so by car. This makes it a convenient area for working professionals and those that enjoy spending time Downtown but don’t necessarily want to live in the heart of the action.

Looking for even more adventure? Smoke Bluffs is more than a stage for this neighbourhood - you can climb it! There are different spots you can climb, and a popular choice is the one at Penny Lane. It offers the most sunshine and views for the level of difficulty involved. The number and variety of climbing sites mean there is always a new challenge and a beautiful view waiting to be discovered. If you aren’t quite ready for the outdoors or don’t like the weather, Squamish also has several indoor rock climbing options so that you can climb any day of the year!
