Mary Hill's borders are roughly Shaughnessy street and the Mary Hill bypass. There are several residential parks, like Routley Park and Kilmer Park. Port Coquitlam is part of SD43, the Coquitlam school district. The two leading schools in this area are École Mary Hill Elementary and École Kilmer Elementary, both french immersion schools. There are several schools in Port Coquitlam within driving distance of Mary Hill, and the nearest post-secondary is Douglas College, about a 10-minute drive away.
Regarding transportation, there are several winding roads through Mary Hill, connecting to the Mary Hill Bypass. Traboulay Poco Trail

The trail is mostly flat and is optimal for walking, jogging and biking. There are several entry points across Port Coquitlam, with parking and washrooms available at most. Along the route is Colony Farm, South Pitt River, Deboville Slough, North Pitt River, Coquitlam River and Hyde Creek. There are various ecosystems along the way, including forest, creekside, farmland and urban.
Colony Farm Regional Park
This park is located a 5-minute drive away from Mary Hill. Dogs are allowed on leash at this park. There is an electric vehicle charging station located here. There are two main trails: The Garden Trail and the Sheep Paddocks Trail. The Garden Trail is 1.4 kilometres long, an excellent short loop, and is bike-friendly. The Sheep Paddocks Trail is pedestrian-only and has several sensitive Habitat Enhancement Areas. There is ample parking and washrooms, and it is wheelchair accessible.
