Units in Cedar Downs are spacious, extending above 1,300 sq. ft., offering plenty of living space. Considering the walkability of these condos to the West Coast Express, these units make excellent homes for young professionals looking for stylish, modern living spaces with impressive affordability.

Slightly to the east of Harris Road, single-family homes on quiet streets often feature only local traffic, culminating in cul-de-sacs. One of the great things about the homes in this part of Mid Meadows is often green space visible from every vantage. Friendly parks, including Hoffman Park, MacLean Park, and Harris Road Park, are all within easy walking distance of properties in this part of Mid Meadows, further appealing to those with children and dogs.

One of the more convenient neighbourhoods in Pitt Meadows is Mid Meadows, located just to the south of the Lougheed Highway, near Harris Road.

Things to Do in Mid Meadows

Shop at Meadowtown Centre

Mid Meadows is home to Meadowtown Centre, a large mall that features extensive shopping options for fashion, furniture, accessories, and more. This commercial centre serves as a hub for shopping for those who live across Pitt Meadows—residents of Mid Meadows benefit from having many of the city’s shopping options right in their backyard. Meadowtown Centre is also home to the ten-screen Cineplex Odeon movie theatre, featuring stadium-style seating.

Golf the Day Away at Meadow Gardens

Pitt Meadows has some of the greenest space of any municipality in the Lower Mainland, so it’s not surprising that it’s also home to some of the best golfing in the Metro Vancouver area. Meadow Gardens is one of the most challenging courses around and is a notably well-maintained course with smooth, fast greens. The course’s signature hole is the eighteenth, which some golfers regard as one of the top holes in the province, featuring two island fairways and an island green—truly a high risk, high reward hole that makes club selection more important than ever. Meadow Greens also has a driving range that offers excellent views of the Golden Ears mountains, making for a relaxing practicing location.

Cruise the Alouette River Dykes

A ten-minute drive west of Mid Meadows gets you to the Alouette River Dykes Trail system—a well-maintained trail that’s a paradise for joggers, walkers, and bikers looking to break a sweat. Along the trail, there are great opportunities for fishing, and the trail is notably lightly trafficked—particularly in the colder months—which makes it an appealing destination for those looking to escape from the city and get lost in nature for a little while.
