Established in the 1980s, Walnut Grove is a suburban residential neighbourhood in the northwest portion of the Township of Langley.
This area primarily consists of single-family homes, bare land strata houses, townhouses, rowhomes and duplexes, with a small supply of condo properties available. With real estate development more heavily focused in other parts of Langley (in neighbourhoods south of Highway 1, such as Willoughby), Walnut Grove has remained a quiet residential community that attracts residents such as families and retirees.
Residential properties are primarily east of 200th Street. The west portion of Walnut Grove comprises mainly industrial, manufacturing, and commercial buildings and services, such as the Costco Distribution Centre and the Lafarge Canada facility.

Bus transit is also available via Translink.
Many community amenities are available in the neighbourhood, including elementary and high schools, the Langley Sportsplex (a facility with four ice hockey rinks), Walnut Grove Community Centre (featuring a library, fitness centre, preschool, swimming pool and gymnasium), retail shops, medical services, liquor stores, a golf course, movie theatre, coffee shops, the Sandman Hotel and popular chain restaurants such as The Keg, The Old Spaghetti Factor and Browns Socialhouse. Catch an IMAX show at the Colossus
First opened in 1999 as the Colossus Theatre (with one of the first films screened being Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menance), this cinema was doing IMAX shows before it was common in most theatres. Operating today as a Cineplex theatre, the facility boasts 19 screens with 1 IMAX screen, 2 DBOX screens and 1 UltraAVX Screen, and seven 3D Screens. Play a round at the Redwoods Golf Course
With spectacular mountain views and surrounded by lush green forests, the Redwoods Golf Course is the perfect place to spend your day. Spanning over 178 acres, this 18-hole course also features a driving range and restaurant, Redwoods Grill. The facility hosts tournaments, charity events, banquets and holiday parties. Redwoods Golf Course is a popular wedding venue with an all-inclusive package available for up to 150 guests.
Please note that due to the Trans Mountain Expansion Project in progress, the golf course, driving range, and Redwoods Grill will remain unavailable until mid-2023. Check their website for more details on the temporary closure.
Visit Walnut Grove Community Park
At the corner of 89th Avenue and Walnut Grove Drive, next to the Walnut Grove Community Centre, sits Walnut Grove Community Park. The park features several amenities, including a ball hockey/lacrosse box, baseball diamond, concession stand, picnic shelters, playground, running track, skateboard park, community garden, soccer field, spray park and tennis courts. Extreme Air Park
Are you looking for something a little more extreme? Whether it’s date night, a birthday party or you’re simply looking for a new fitness routine; Extreme Air Park is Canada’s largest trampoline park and a guaranteed memorable experience. The 42,000 sq. ft. facility includes activities like dodgeball, dunk zone, knocker balls, a gladiator pit, extreme rock climbing, a foamzone and a 50 ft. halfpipe! Open 10:00 am to 10:00 pm daily. They offer group rates, school rates, mom and tot jumps, birthday packages and specials like “Unlimited Jump Time” every Tuesday. Please note that all “jumpers” must sign a waiver before enjoying the facility.
