Acadia College is an EQA-certified Canadian Training provider with an Aviation campus in Murrayville. The campus offers Scenic Flights with a fully qualified flight instructor. With a Cessna 172 capable of carrying up to three passengers, it costs $285 + tax per hour, with the flight length varying by location. Popular locations include Squamish and Whistler, Harrison Lake, Victoria and Downtown Vancouver. If you have no specific destination in mind, the “Discovery Flight” is an excellent option for those wanting to enjoy the experience of being up in the air.
Play a round at Langley Golf & Banquet Centre
Open since 1981, the owners of Langley Golf & Banquet Centre turned this former hobby farm into a stunning 18-hole golf course and golf range. Tee times are available for booking online as either a Regular Public Booking, Annual Pass-Holders Booking or Leagues Players (Weekly Golf Groups) Bookings. Rentals and punch cards are also available. The Driving Range is open daily from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm.

The Princess and The Pea Hotel is a local icon. Situated in the historic “Five Corners” Intersection at 21628 48 Avenue, the building was originally constructed in the 1880s. After careful and painstaking restoration, the hotel opened in 1998 and has since become a whimsical destination. Inspired by famous fairy tales, the themed rooms include names like “Sleeping Beauty,” “Snow White,” and “Cinderella.” The room rate includes a Signature Continental Morning Tray. The hotel does accept a small number of wedding reservations (ceremony only) but is limited to a 35-person capacity.
Visit the Stable Harvest Farm
First established in 2020, Stable Harvest Farm owes its roots to its founder Syd, who had wanted to build an opportunity for others, especially children, to learn about agriculture. The farm covers 65 acres of agricultural land trust, which includes a five-acre market garden.
Stable Harvest Farms is a Jewish-based farm and education centre, but all are welcome! School visits and events like the Ocean Wise Tree Planting Project and Backpack Buddies are popular.
