Real Estate in Coquitlam City Centre
This area has it all in terms of real estate. There are commercial buildings for sale, hi-rise and low rise apartments, single-family homes, and co-ops! While already urban, this neighbourhood continues to develop. There are multiple towers close to the convenient Coquitlam Centre, with these apartments ranging from 1-3 bedrooms typically, like the Frontenac building. While you may be in the heart of Coquitlam, you do not have to compromise on beautiful mountain views because views from multiple sides of these apartments are common.
A little bit north of Coquitlam Centre (still in the city centre), you will find single-family homes as well as lower-rise apartments like Dearwood Court on Pipeline Road. Known as the area called River Springs, these homes were built in the 1970s, roughly at the same time Coquitlam Centre was built. These houses are excellent investment and development opportunities! This library is one of two branches and is situated right in the heart of the City Centre. There is a tonne of events, programs, and services here! For kids, they have a chess club, a robotics class, and a Learning to Code workshop.
Lake Lafarge/Town Centre Park
Nearby the Evergreen Cultural Centre is Lake Lafarge and Town Centre Park. These two side-by-side parks offer a whole host of recreational and sporting events. Included here are a waterpark, skate park, and sand volleyball courts. This space is undergoing considerable upgrades and developments like the TD community Plaza and the Salmon Art Sculpture. Town Centre Park is home to various athletics, like kids' soccer and Percy Perry Stadium- where track and field events are held. Coquitlam Centre
