Real Estate in North Burnaby East

North Burnaby East is primarily a residential neighbourhood; however commercial properties are present. The influence of Simon Fraser University has added a greater need for multi-unit properties for university students. As a result, this sub-area contains several apartment and condominium buildings. Other residential neighbourhoods follow a similar pattern, emphasizing multi-family units. You will find a mixture of townhouse options suitable for first-time home buyers and luxury units. Single-family homes are available but less frequently than apartments, townhomes, and condominiums. Those looking for single-family homes may have better luck with listings in Westridge and Montecito.

The southern border for North Burnaby East is along the Lougheed Highway, which also runs through Sullivan Heights. This general area has a higher concentration of commercial real estate listings. Office space, retail stores, and restaurants are usually considered the leading commercial real estate listings. Leasing opportunities within the Lougheed Shopping Centre are another option that becomes available from time to time. Commercial real estate properties are easily accessed by the many SkyTrain stations passing through this region.
