Real Estate in Metrotown
The northern end of Metrotown along Kingsway Avenue offers one of the best options for commercial properties in Burnaby. The Crystal Mall, Station Square, and Metropolis are all concentrated here, providing the area with hundreds of retail stores, office space, and restaurants.
Expanding south towards the border at Rumble Street, you will still find commercial properties, but the focus shifts to residential properties. Between Imperial Street and Rumble Avenue, you will find that single-family detached homes make up the majority of residential property listings. Many of these houses also contain one to two-bedroom suites. Multi-family units such as apartments, condominiums, townhouses, duplexes, and triplexes are also common in the area. Most condos are found near the shopping centres and are 1 or 2 bedrooms in size. Some of these condominiums are mixed-use, meaning they contain both residential and commercial floors.
