Residents enjoy Aberdeen’s climate as the summers are warm, and during the year, Aberdeen only experiences an average of fifty days of temperatures below zero.
There is no shortage of amenities nearby. Highstreet Shopping Centre in Abbotsford is only a short trip away and offers several shops and clothing retailers in the mall. It also has a movie theatre and several fast-food and dining options. Further into Abbotsford provides all kinds of restaurants, coffee shops, wineries, and breweries. King Traditional Elementary is the primary School in Aberdeen. It has a strong focus on academics, and there is a dress code for students. Other schools in the neighbourhood include Dave Kandal Elementary and Aberdeen Elementary. Secondary schools include Eugene Reimer Middle School and Rick Hansen Secondary, located northeast in West Abbotsford. Both are accessible by bus. Post-secondary education can be taken at the Ashton College Campus. They offer programs in different fields that are in demand.
