Open year-round to the public from sunrise to sunset, Thetis Lake is an excellent destination for hiking, swimming, fishing, canoeing, picnicking, or floating on the water on a sunny day. Note there is paid parking between May and September, or you can pay $20 for a season pass. 

Highland Pacific Golf Course

The Highland Pacific Golf Course calls itself "Victoria's Friendliest Public Golf Course" for a good reason. It is playable year-round and has six different tee markers, suitable for all skill levels. At this course, you can rent a golf cart with GPS, visit the range café for a snack or a drink, book golf lessons, and check out their golf shop, which is full of name-brand gear and clothing. There are even children-sized golf clubs for the kids to borrow if you want to bring them to the driving range

Elements Casino

Elements Casino is a popular destination for View Royal residents and people from all over the Greater Victoria area.
