Government House is the Tudor-style residence of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, rebuilt after a fire in 1959. There are monthly interior tours, and the exterior is open to the public with free admission. The Lieutenant Governor hosts public events such as outdoor movies, live music in the bandshell on the east lawn, and other events like Halloween parties and a New Years’ Day Levee when the weather is favorable.
