The BC Ale Trail calls Victoria the "cradle of the craft beer revolution," stating that Victoria is home to Canada's first brewpub, Spinnakers, which opened its doors in 1984. The Victoria Harbour Ferry Gorge Tour is a seasonal 75-minute round-trip tour on the Gorge Waterway with a guide for sightseeing and regional learning history. Gorge Park has a community garden, and many parks have water views, public washrooms, and play equipment. Arbutus Park has an off-leash dog area. The Cecelia Ravine Bike Skills Park is a popular 3-acre destination with trails, a pump track, small skills practice areas, and various technical terrains. 

The Galloping Goose Trail can be used for walking, running, and cycling, a popular route for leisure and daily commutes, with a mix of walkers, extreme cyclists, and joggers. In the rural areas, you may even find people on horseback using the trail.
