Old Esquimalt is located on the southern tip of Vancouver Island, British Columbia and is part of the Township of Esquimalt, a community that was incorporated in 1912. Esquimalt is about 10 km in size with approximately 19,000 residents. Flying Squirrel Trampoline Park

Flying Squirrel is a safe and clean indoor trampoline park that is family-friendly and suitable for people of all ages, from adults to toddlers. Ropes courses, dunk hoops, spring floors, performance trampolines, freestyle courts, kiddie courts, stunt jump areas, launch lanes and a ninja course are all found at Flying Squirrel. 

If you get hungry from all the exertion, the Drey Bar & Café serves food and drinks such as veggie platters, soft pretzels, pizza, pop, coffee, tea, and juice. This venue is open seven days a week and can be booked ahead of time. 

Work Out and Swim at the Esquimalt Recreation Centre

The Esquimalt Rec Centre is a multipurpose gathering place for the community that features a 4,500 sq. ft. weight room with cardio equipment, strength training equipment and more. Open seven days a week, this drop-in fitness centre also has personal training sessions and physiotherapy options. 

The accessible pool has recently installed a new lift for persons with mobility concerns and is available for swim lessons, drop-in swims for everybody, lengths, and family swim times, with late night adult swims from 9:00 PM - 10:30 PM.

Take the Galloping Goose Trail 

The Galloping Goose is a 55 km trail that leads through the wilderness, urban areas and rural land. It connects Esquimalt to Sooke, Metchosin, View Royal, Victoria, Colwood and Saanich. Choose a destination, pack a snack, put on your walking shoes or get on your bike and go for it.
