Polson Park and Walkway 

Polson Park is one of the true beauties situated in Vernon. Perhaps best known for the floral clock that graces its presence, it was installed in 1958 and is a great backdrop for a selfie. The flower beds are always gorgeous and well maintained, along with the Japanese gardens that are always a sight to see. A beautiful fountain and pond house the ducks for admiring from the walking path. For the kiddos, the spray park is always a crowd-pleaser. Vernon Farmers' Market  

Just off Highway 97, on the north end of Veron, The Vernon Famers' Market is one of the oldest around the Okanagan and a great way to support your local farmers. Last year it celebrated its 42nd year, but they have quickly become a sizeable venue that supports over 100 vendors per market and is proud to support local. You can find a variety of fresh produce, baked goods, meat, cheese, hand-crafted pieces, and more. The quality and taste are something you just can't find at your local grocery store. 

Vernon Community Arts Centre  

Vernon Community Arts Centre is home to local and original art pieces in the North Okanagan. They offer classes for adults, youth, and teens that vary from clay art to painting and drawing.
