A beautiful and scenic neighbourhood on the banks of the Okanagan Lake, you might hear locals of Vernon, BC refer to Okanagan Landing simply as ‘The Landing.’ Located south of Vernon, Okanagan Landing was a major hub for railways and steamboats in the 1800s, serving as a bridge between the Canadian Pacific Railway boat and train service. Okanagan Landing was developed in 1892 and officially became part of Vernon in 1993.
