Within two blocks of walking distance is the Performing Arts Centre, Vernon Curling, Multiplex, and Recreation Centre/Pool. The Vernon & District Performing Arts Centre Society was formed in 1990 to promote the building of a performing arts centre for Vernon and the surrounding district. Centennial Outdoor Arena

Becker Trail is a very cool bike park with bike trails and a pump track. The park includes several pump tracks, an inclined climbing trail and a flow trail for beginner to intermediate abilities. The bike park provides a fun activity for the whole family and is an excellent addition to Vernon's growing cycling infrastructure. You can also enjoy a walk or a hike, or you can bring your pets with you on a leash. 

Turtle Mountain and the Grey Canal 

Turtle Mountain is blessed with breathtaking views of the Okanagan Valley. This short but sweet trail is best enjoyed in the mid-morning and late afternoon, with the perfect amount of shade on a particularly scorching summer day. The avid horticultural buff can find all kinds of flower species, and the bird watcher should keep their eyes open for gorgeous hawks and other birds hovering above.
