Things To Do in Carmi
There is never a dull moment in Carmi, only ten minutes from some of the nicest beaches in Penticton. Some of the best hiking trails are nearby as well. Carmi/Ellis Creek is a beautiful hike. It is only 3 km and is considered easy to moderate. It is also nice and convenient to be only 45 minutes to Big White Ski Resort, or try your turn at snowshoeing the Carmi hill trails or Mt Baldy.
SS Sicamous Museum and Heritage Park
Sicamous Museum and Heritage Park is a non-profit organization that has managed to preserve the history and heritage of the Okanagan throughout the museum. They have an educational, historic site for cruise ships, flagships, and steamships and hold several different events. Coyote Cruises Lake Channel Float
Coyote Cruises Lake Channel Float has been boasted as one of the top adventures to accomplish in Penticton. The channel is roughly 7 km long, and the float takes about three hours, but you can always partake in half the ride, at about an hour and a half. The float starts at the Coyote Cruises launch site at 215 Riverside Drive. If you don't have a floating device or tube, they can be provided with a shuttle bus ride provided by Coyote Cruises.
