Knox Mountain Hill Climb

The Knox Mountain Hill Climb is an annual event by the Leavitt Machinery Company. It is a fun timed motorsport event that involves 3.5km of intensely steep grades, narrow paved roads, off-camber corners, and an average grade of 6.7%. As they put it, the road offers “a nice Sunday drive, but hardly a race track,” making it a dangerous and exciting race to the top. Along with races, there are beer gardens, show and shine events, food, and live music, with an awards ceremony at the end of the day.

Fall WestJet Wine Tasting at YLW

The Spring and Fall WestJet Wine Tasting is an annual event providing sampling opportunities from over 200 BC wineries inside the Rotary Centre for the Arts. Booths are arranged by their different regions mimicking a wine tour across the province. This event also has food, live music, a photo booth, and other fun attractions.
