Real Estate in Valleyview
Valleyview is one of Kamloops' most prominent communities and continuously sees new developments. Home buyers can purchase bare land, such as the Braeburn area, a bare land strata development with multi-level, heritage style, single-family homes.
Other opportunities include apartments, townhomes, mobile homes, duplexes, and single-family homes. The houses are well established, with about half of the homes being constructed in the 1960s and 1970s. Newer homes can be found sprinkled throughout Valleyview. Being on flat terrain, homes are easier to develop, and owners are pleased with the large backyards and ample space to park their RV, boats and other toys all year long.
There are also some vacant lots for commercial and residential use. You can take the opportunity to build your own dream home. Valleyview is near the Thompson River, so waterfront properties are common. Thompson Drive, Marsh Road, Paul Road, Chapman Place, Peter Road, Martin Rd, Duck Rd and Skelly Road all offer gorgeous lakefront homes. Rosehill is an exclusive community that sits just above Valleyview with breathtaking panoramic sights, and many of the houses are large custom-built homes and executive estates. It is a more secluded area for those who enjoy a private lifestyle.
