The primary way to travel into North Kamloops is through the Overlander Bridge, which spans the entire Thompson River.

Things To Do in North Kamloops
Residents brag about the Rivers Trail that runs South and North of Thompson River from Downtown over to Westsyde. It is a gorgeous, mostly paved and flat pathway that anyone can enjoy. Along the path are some side trails to the beaches, so you can pack a lunch and relax on the sand. The Lac Du Bois Grassland Park also has over 51,000 hectares of beautiful grasslands and several hiking trails. You can also take your ATV or dirt bike to designated areas.
McArthur Island Park
McArthur Island Park is one of the best parks in Kamloops, with lots going on in the way of recreational activities. There are sports fields, a skate park, an arena, tennis courts, disc golf, and even mini-golf. There are mainly level walking paths through lush gardens and beautiful scenery. The park is 51 hectares in size and is located between North Kamloops and Brocklehurst on the north bank of the Thompson River.

Privato Vineyard and Winery is only 15 min away, and this family-owned winery is quite the hidden gem. They pride their craft on creating the most premium Burgundian style wine, a French style. It has been around since 2010 with tasting rooms and a gorgeous outdoor patio with endless vineyards and gardens as your backdrop.
Pineridge Golf Course
Pineridge Golf Course is an eighteen-hole course located along the South Thompson River just East of Kamloops. Magnificent views and varied terrain offer an executive course for all experience levels. They host their usual events, including Seniors Day and Ladies and Men’s Night. Still, you can book a private tournament of any size. They also offer a pro shop, restaurant, bar, and patio.
BIG Little Science Centre
BIG Little Science Centre is a great spot to take the family for some fun facts and enjoy yourself while learning something about science. The centre was started in 2000 by Gordon R.
